Heather has moved around a bit but seems to return to Hampton Roads as a home base. She is currently a quality assurance engineer with an interest in iOS development. She started her professional journey in a less technical role supporting students pursuing tech-centered degrees. She was attracted to programming by the challenge and potential to build useful and creative products. She moved into web work and quality assurance professionally and is working on iOS development using Swift/SwiftUI on the side. She is passionate about education and helping where she can. Heather enjoys traveling, sunshine, and running in nature.
“Change happens when we work at the systematic level, but also when we value diversity at the decision table.”
